The Virgin Islands Olympic Committee is pleased to announce Skeleton Athlete Kathryn Tannebaum is on the race track training today following her release from quarantine. Katie had tested positive for COVID before February 4th’s Opening Ceremonies and has been asymptomatic and in quarantine. She was released following three negative tests, 24h apart from each other per Beijing 2022 rules.
Virgin Islanders can see Katie compete on February 10th, The Women’s 1st heat is at 9:30 pm Virgin Islands time, the 2nd heat is at 11:00 pm.
